“Belonging to me means your home culture, how you celebrate festivals, and how much time you give to family members. We used to prepare for festivals 2 - 3 days before it begins, but in Hong Kong there’s no time. No community, but we go to the Sikh temple in Wan Chai to do the rituals. Although it’s not the same, and we miss our family, there is still satisfaction in our hearts.”

“Grab the things in my mind”... Give more things to the festival. After the workshops, my understanding of belonging has changed…
Even though I feel homesick, I know I can attach something to my festival to make it more memorable.
Belongings for me is about festivals, culture and food of your country, for me it’s INDIA.
